Chocolate Blood!!

Oh!!! Its Tuesday :P, That would explain why im  here!

At the moment im falling a bit behind with the accessories for my Guro Lolita co-ord for the expo on saturday!

But ive got a pink Bodyline dress (dont wanna get any blood on the rest!)
Im making an eyepatch, and an apron (which I shall splatter the blood on)
and putting on plasters!

Yep, this year ive run out of money :(
but hopefully by next year i'll have a bit more to go all out!!!
but it's all a working progress and I think it'll look okay on the day!

LOOK WHAT I FOUND!!

Chocolate blood (edible)

This mixture looks great, smells great, and tastes like chocolate!
  1. 1
Combine light corn syrup with red food dye until you get a shade that closely resembles real blood. You can also use a red drink mix (like cherry Kool Aid® powder) instead of red food dye, although be warned that this changes the flavor.
  2. 2
Carefully add a small amount of cocoa powder to the syrup mixture to darken the shade and cause the fake blood to turn opaque like real blood.
  3. 3

    Perfect the consistency. Either:
    • Thin the blood by slowly adding water; or
    • Thicken it with a couple pinches of flour or cornstarch mixed in carefully and slowly.
(found on wikihow)

Sadly this is a tiny post today, but more following Saturday after expo, and pictures too!!!

DIY Lolita: Double-Wing Makeup Look

Hello everyone :) I hope you are all well. Today's DIY Lolita is this simple yet affective double-wing eyeliner makeup look.

*** NOT MY PHOTOGRAPH!!! I MAY UPLOAD MY PHOTO AT A LATER DATE***

You Will Need:

- Brow Powder/Pencil in your colour
- White Eyeshadow
- Light Cream Coloured Eyeshadow
- Black Gel Eyeliner
- Matte Black Eyeshadow
- Black Pencil Liner
- White Pencil Liner
- Black Mascara
- Light Pink Blush
- Pale Pink Lipstick
- Clear Lipgloss

O1. First, fill in your brows. Then, use the white eyeshadow to highlight your browbone and inner corner.

O2. Next, dust the cream shadow all over your eyelids. Using an angled brush, apply the gel liner. Start in the inner corner, working your way out. When you get to the outer corner, flick it out. Then, do a smaller flick just above the larger one, as the photograph shows. Set with black eyeshadow.

O3. Starting at the outer corner of the eye, apply some black pencil liner to the lower lashline. Only take it about a quarter of the way across. Again, set with the black eyeshadow.

O4. Line the waterline with the white eyeliner pencil. This helps to create a more wide-eyed look. Curl lashes and apply 2-3 coats of mascara.

O5. Apply blush to the apples of your cheeks. Finish off the look with a little lipstick and lipgloss.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, if you have any others that you'd like me to do, just comment below!

Lots of Love,

Kamikaze Girls

Tuesday time!
Sadly I have an awful headache and my dog is sitting on the keyboard, but at least im on time today! I've just taken some paracetamol so I should be okay ^_^

Today id like to tell you about the movie Kamikaze Girls.

It is known to be one of the ultimate lolita movies, written by Novala Takemoto and the film was made by Tetsuya Nakashima.

It was first a best selling novel called Shimotsuma Story, but then was adapted into a comic, then a film.

The protagonist in the film is named Momoko (played by  Kyoko Fukada),  who is a lolita who only worries about herself and puts her happiness first and above all others.

Her parents are
divorced and she lives with her ex-yakuza dad (Hiroyuki Miyasako) and her fuzzy in the head grandma.

While trying to earn money by selling some things she meets Ichiko (Anna Tsuchiya) a Yankee Biker from the ponytail gang.

Together the form a strong friendship and help each other out when needed as strange doings are going on around them, that they have to deal with.

It's a great movie that I've loved for a long time and posses on DVD (you can get it on Amazon) So if you ever get bored, put it on!

NUNNERS!!!

Hi there, my name's Sophie Nunn. I know it's Saturday, which is Laura's day, but today is the only day I could fit in at this specific moment.

I'm just gonna tell ya a bit about myself! I have never worn Lolita but I really like the style, especially the Sweet Lolita! I am 14 and live in the UK. I absolutely love to cosplay! Especially as boys, 'cause I believe it is more interesting and cool!
I go to a private school which is owned by the NUNS! Unfortunately, my parents do not own this school (haha), as you may be mistaken by my last name Nunn :P I am usually referred to as Nunners or Nunn! Also, I am God-Parent to Elsa! :P My name to her is Nanny McNunners!

See you soon! Hopefully next weekend or whatever day I can blog!

AYE Chihuahua!

GAHH!!! Im Oh Soo sorry!! I not only didn't post last week, but im late today!! Sorry sorry sorry!!!!

But I have excuses (now I shall try to make up for it)

Last week (the day after the Royal Wedding) I purchased a small furry rat thing,!

This is my new Chihuahua puppy Elsa!
She is just like a baby and keeps me up all night! (that's the reason im late tonight)! But I forgive her (And I hope you'll forgive me) As she's such a darling!

She weighs an ounce at the moment and can fit into one hand, and is one little poof ball.

At the moment she will run around for 5 minutes and then black out on the floor and sleep for 2 hours or so.

And im exhausted!! It's like having a new born baby (with fur!) A Furbaby!!!
Bought her a snuggie from the £1 shop! (just couldn't resist!)
Her little wardrobe is filling up (and don't say it' mean to dress your dog up, she gets cold and shivers, so she has to wear at least a jumper!)

I adore her to bits and im oh so sorry about the late posts!

I SHALL see you next week! I promise!!!
